Mars

78,000 people have already applied to settle on the planet Mars for a reality TV show. The Mars One project aims to establish a human settlement on the Red Planet by 2023 and televise every aspect of the decade-long mission. Successful candidates must come through a two-year selection process and train for another seven before heading to Mars, never returning to Earth. Video

I personally would not want to go to Mars, let the scientists and people who know what they are doing on the surface.

  • that would be a pretty amazing feat i would think.  i guarantee almost everyone would be watching that reality tv show.  i wouldn't go up there either.  i mean i like to travel but that would be a little too extreme.

  • I want to see the show. That would be cool to see people on mars. I would not go though, space would freak me out.

  • I personally would not sign up for that, not in a million years! It would be cool to go but the whole "never returning to earth" thing is not for me!

  • I think that it would be awesome to travel to another planet, but to have it all televised would be weird. I wouldn't want to be televised but just going would be fun!

  • wow....people can barely live on this earth... let alone a whole other planet... that is crazy and i dont think i would be leave my family and never see them again.

  • If it wasn't for the reality show aspect I would do it. I probably wouldn't be able to but I would if I could. Going to another planet would be the experience of a lifetime.

  • This is cray that so many people are wanting to go to this planet i mean it would be a cool thing to see but i would rather stay on earth.

  • I think it would be fun to live on Mars. I would want to take some people with me, but what could we do here that we wouldn't be able to replicate there?

  • This is crazy because all the people wants to to to Mars, but also I can say that it is interesting like idea.

  • I definitely would not volunteer for a thing like that. I'm guessing that there is something in the fine print that says the company is not responsible for death.
