After leading 54 laps leader Mark Martin gets involved in a crash while trying to pass some lapped traffic and ends up hitting a wall making a huge dent right behind the drivers door.

Racing is a high risk sport, but at the same time it is a fun sport. I my self enjoy it, not just for the wrecks I have a favorite driver and I watch a lot of races. I'm glad Mark Martin is ok because I like him, but I'm sure he's been through quite a few crashes like that. He has been racing a long time.
I understand that certain events are entertaining to others, but I don't get why racing is one of them. People have a high risk of dying and getting hurt. At least he is doing okay, or from what I could tell in the article, he is fine.
