Since the 2018 winter Olympics are being held in pyeongchang south korea back in 2011, back then they decided to host the games there because the threat was minnimal to none but now with north korea being as salty as ever and now equipped with a somewhat nuclear attack system The U.S has decided to step in with security as well to make sure everything goes smoothly and over all there are 60,000 security personals along with 50,000 trained soldiers as well as a well constructed cyber security team to not only prevent North Korea from disturbing the games but anyone else who want to cause a bit of chaos.
If you were one of the soldiers in training what would your thoughts be about the whole situation.
I'd be on edge during the whole thing because not only is the situation completely in the dark but if an attack is carried out a war could possibly break out.
With the attack of north Korea being a possibbility would you attend the olympic games or stay at home?
With the possibility of an attack if given the chance to go i'd take it since it'd be the one time i'd ever be able to go in my life and that with the amount of security i'd feel extremely protected.

That you should be on focus dont watch the games to much but watch everyone to really know who stands out and who could be a threat. I would stay home because not that im afraid its just a lot of time on a plane to go over there and expensive and then probably expensive to get into the olympics anyways. In all do respect I would watch it on tv.
I would be very nervous. I would be thinking that because they put me here they believe there is some sort of threat from North Korea. That in itself would make me nervous. If I was an athlete I would still compete. If I was just going to watch I would probably stay home and watch from my couch.
I'd be scared and probably on edge while training and especially while in South Korea. I would stay home just because it's so close to North Korea and it's a real, plausible threat. I think they are going to have a lot of security but that doesn't help if there is a bomb dropped.
If I was a soldier I would be extremely prepared and confident in protecting the grounds during the Olympics, especially since there is so many guards and soldiers to protect the grounds. I would still attend the Olympics because the likelyhood of an attack on South Korea is unlikely since it is so close to North Korea.
I would be very confident as one of these soldiers. With over one hundred thousand combined security persons and 50,000 soldiers would make me confident that with that many people we would get the job done.
I would stay home because when the winter olympics come back to the United States that would provide a safer way for me to attend. Although the threat of nukes would be down, the threat of mass shootings and bombings would be up. Staying at home and watching on TV is just fine with me.
1 If I were one of the soldiers I would be really aware of everything because I think that maybe something could happened and we should prevent it.
2 If I had the opportunity to go I think I will go because in this types of events there is always a risk for terrorist attacks but we have to take advantage of all the opportunities and not being scared to do new things.
If I was one of the soldiers, I would not be wanting to do this task. It seems like it is very important and would be glad to serve my country, but would also want to be home with family. I would watch the olimpic games at home too. I wouldn't go anyway because of it being way to crowded but would feel even better if I wasn't there this time.
