They do have a lot of programs to help former military personnel with their PTSD problems. It is the doctors that wont help them because they want you to pay them money. I think that if you have served and put your life on the line for this country you should be able to get help without paying. because if they didnt put their lives on the line we wouldnt be sitting here right now.
I think vertrans have a lot of problems when they come back from war. They cant help it its a mental disorder but this is really sad that this happened. They need more programs for vetrans to help them get through all they have been through. They need mental help
This is so sad:/....I'm sure the Marine vet. went through some hard times and was very unstable and was not thinking about what he was doing. How did he get ahold of a gun anyway if he was on watch? May his friends rest in peace and may he find help and peace in the future.
Well obviously this guy is already pretty messed up. He's already been to a hospital for being crazy twice. Being in a Military field does have long term affects on people though. It is sad that he shot his friend and a Navy Seal..i think the cops should keep a close eye on him.
I don't like how people who have already been diagnosed with PTSD are not monitored. They could pose a great danger to others and themselves.
I think it is really sad how people who go to defend our country sometime come back with mental problems. This poor man must have seen horrible things. It was not right that he killed two men, but he was probably confused and thought he was fighting in a war.
It seems like people should have known that he was having mental problems since he was taken to a mental hospital twice since last fall. I think he needs more help but should definitely remain on suicide watch because you never know what someone with PTSD will do. It's awful that 2 people had to die for him to really get help.
Sounds like this guy has some trauma from what had happened in the past.
