After a day of daycare at a southern California daycare a two year old girl was getting picked up by her parents. Her parents noticed something wrong with her and took her to the hospital. She was tested positive for marijuana. Her parents said she had to have got it from the daycare and so they investigated it. They found out it was a terrible and nasty facility. There was rat droppings all over including on toys and in the kitchen. They left sharp knifes out on the counters. The owner was taken into custody on suspicion of child neglect and endangerment at her day care, Bina's Family Child Care. What do you guys think about all of this? Would you have known the conditions of the place when you went to pick your kids up?

Good job once again!
I would have investigated the school a bit more before enrolling my child in it. I would have taken a tour and asked questions as far as what the daycare manager's intentions with the children were. I think it was probably the parents fault for not noticing the conditions earlier and pulling their child out. Although, it definitely was not right for this women to put young vulnerable children into this kind of an environment.
That is awful for the kids, they shouldn't be exposed to those types conditions. These people should be locked up and fined for lots of thing they are doing wrong
I think that the people running the facility were terrible having kids near all this. There should also be blame on the parents for not seeing the inside of the daycare before.
This is very sad and the place should defiantly be shut down. I couldn't imagine how the children family felt.
This is terrible and you might have not known the condition of the daycare because she only had to keep the front room clean and no one would know. I don't know why you would run a daycare and then not take care of it, if you don't want to run it why not just get rid of it so you don't have to do things like this to kids.
Oh my! Hope the government could slant to european government sometimes, give women more time and social benefit to take care of their kids
Well of course you'd want to know what the place was like if you were going to leave your kids there! That's really sad to see happen! I wish people would have found it sooner!
That is really sad. With all the government regulations you figure daycares would be more careful. I hope their is more than just a fine on this facility. They should be closed down. Parents trust daycares with the most important thing they have, their kids. And no one should take advantage of that.
This is very sad. It is a good thing the girl is ok, and people should take more look into daycare's they are taking their kids to.
