This past Wednesday a man by the name of David Moore, 66, had turned himself in for escaping from a prison in Henderson County, North Carolina. The weird thing was is that it was 40 years later. David had been living with a women in the town of Frankfort, Kentucky. He had told everybody that his name was Ronnie Dickinson and had kept his big secret from every single person he had met. Every single person that had been his friend had said that he was just a normal person and that they had no idea that he was a prison escapee.
Do you think that people would be able to do this now with the technology that we have? Why? Why not?
Why do you think that he would have turned himself in 40 years later?

I think it would be way more difficult now then it was back then because there are cameras and guards all around. Maybe he felt guilty for escaping and felt he needed to be punished.
I think it would be very hard because of all the ways people can see their picture like on TV or the internet so it would be very difficult. Maybe he thought he would make up for his mistakes since he was getting older.
No because there is computers that people stare at all day long and all the cameras around the prisons. He probably felt guilty that they have not cached on in 40 years.
Only if they moved somewhere with no or very limited technology. I think the guilt finally got to him and the medical expenses.
I think it was the guilt that finally got to him. im not sure wha the technology is right now but depends I gues what we have but I don't think many people excape from prison now a days.
The only reason i can think of is either the guilt is destroying him or his old lady is annoying him. I don't think this would be possible now a days with all the technology we have in place but hey i mean look at all the illegal immigrants.
I'm not sure of people would be still able to do this, but it would be definitely hard. I guess it was also really hard back then when he escaped, but he did it. I have no idea why he should turn himself in 40 years later. If it would have been because of guilt he would probably turned himself back in sooner.
I don't know why he would have turned himself in.. I think that is dumb.. Especially after all the work he had to go through to get out haha.
I think that he turned himself in because he knew what he did wrong that he had to pay for it. No I don't think that you could at least not as long as he did because everyone would know what you looked like with hours of escaping.
