A five year old boy got thrown off of the third floor balcony at the Mall of America. He was walking with his mom when a stranger grabbed him and tossed him down the more than 40 foot drop. He is in very bad shape in the hospital. He has massive head trauma and broken legs and arms. The man said he was mad because he couldn't find any women that would talk to him so he wanted to hurt somebody. He has been in trouble before for throwing drinks at a lady at the mall for not buying him something. He is in jail awaiting trial. Article from CBS news
What would you do if you were the boys parents?
What do you think should happen to the guy?
I would make him pay for all the hospital bills and any future problems.
The guy should be in jail for life with no possible way to get out.

Overall, your summary is very breif as are your personal thoughts. I think your topic choice makes it difficult to discuss much and your questions aren't strong.
First of all, I would have been paying more attention to my child and then I would have probably confronted him and called the cops. He should be put away forever.
I would be absolutely furious at him because he put my son's life at risk. I get down to my son as fast as possible. I think it'd only be fair for the stranger to pay for the hospital bills.
I think he should should in prison for many years. When the man finally gets out of prison, he should have to be escorted everywhere he goes so he can be sure he doesn't injure anymore people. And that way, if he does, they can put him back in prison.
I would be angry at the man and very worried for my child. Since he is so young, I think that this event will affect the rest of his life with health issues and most likely learning disabilities. The man should be in jail for a very long sentence and hopefully get his mental health checked, as no one would normally throw a child off of a balcony because they got angry.
I would be absolutley furious, jsut minding my own buisness and have a man throw my son off the railing! He most liklely will have problems becasue of this for the rest of his life. I think that the guy responsible needs to tried to a very extensive degree and probably get some mental help as well. No sane person would throw a child off the railing.
1. I would make sure my son is okay and lives before I even start to worry about court or anything to do with the man who threw my child. After my child lived or died I would make sure he was arrested.
2. If the child lives it was atempted homicide and if he dies it was just plain homicide so this man will definetly go to jail for sure.
For the man who did this should get a life sentence in prison. I most definitely think this man has a mental disability and should life in a place where his health can be managed. I also agree that he should pay for the hospital bills, he is lucky the child is still alive.
I probably would have attacked him back for injuring my child. This is totally unacceptable behaviour from people, period!
I think that this guy should be in prison forever. They should never let him out. Such a terrible thing to do to somebody!!!!!
I would be very scared that my child had just been thrown down 40 feet. I would be very mad at the man and I would be scared of what would happen to my kid. I think he should be put into jail for a long time.
I think that the parents have a right to be angry at the man and make him pay. He lost control of his temper and took it out on a little boy, which is unacceptable. I strongly believe that the guy deserves to go to jail and pay for the boys medical bills. He might even need some mental help.
