55 year old Darwin Cox shot his wife after a few days of fighting. Their 18 year old son was at home during the shooting and told cops that his parents had been fighting and it started to become very physical. The wife was in the front yard and neighbors called the cops saying that she looked like she suffered from a gun shot wound and was later announced dead at the hospital. Darwin tried to shoot himself but only got his chin. What do you guys think should happen to Darwin? Could you ever shoot your wife/husband because of a fight?

That man must have something wrong with him. I can't imagine harming another person, especially with a gun. I would never shoot my husband because we were fighting. I would talk it out civilly. I know the son was there during the shooting, but I really hope he wasn't there to witness it. If my dad did that, I don't think I could ever forgive him for such a thing.
This man should be put in jail right away with no bond.
I think Darwin should go to jail for shooting a person. I have heard stories of husbands killing their wives or wives killing their husbands but I don't understand why sometimes. It makes you wonder how our generation is going to turn out.
This is a sad story and I feel bad for the 18 year old who had to witness it. I think Darwin should be arrested and charged with murder. If he pleas insanity then he should go to a correctional facility/ mental hospital for the rest of his life. I could never see myself getting so mad at a person I loved to harm them in any way.
I feel bad for the son too. I would be traumatized if I saw that happen.. I don't think I'd be able to deal with my dad knowing he killed my mom.
I couldn't because in the end I know that i would love her and she loves me but if it some one I don't like I would do it then. he missed because right at the end he thought to himself "What would my son do without me and what would all of my friends and relatives do without me" that is why he hit is chin instead of killing himself
Yeah, that makes sense. I wondered if he really did try to shoot himself because then he wouldn't have to deal with everybody and the possibility of being in jail for the rest of his life.
No, I could never shoot my husband when I get married. Who could hurt someone they truly love? This man shouldn't spend forever in prison but just time and DEFIANTLY get his mental health checked out.
I think so too! I don't know how you could marry somebody and then look at them and shoot them. There's a lot of things people do that I don't understand though.
This is terrible. Why would anyone want to kill someone just because of a fight? I think the man should go to jail for murder. I would never think of killing any family member just because of a fight. I really think he should get the maximum punishment for his actions.
