NASA will be sending Scott Kelly to the International Space Station for a year. This will be the longest time spent in space by a US astronaut. NASA has asked him to keep a detailed journal of everyday, including thoughts, what he has done, eaten, physical activity, and emotional status. Kelly will spend a lot of time keeping in touch with earth through social media and cellular devices. A British singer will be visiting him during his time in space and they may do some recording. What are your thoughts on this experiment? What do you think NASA will learn from this?

Good job!
It would definitely be cool to go to space but I would not last that long by myself. I think he might they will find out cool stuff about space after him being there for an entire year.
I would not be able to be in space for that long. First off I would think the oxygen would run out and I am very claustrophobic. I don't really know what will be learned from just living in a space craft but you never know.
That's surprising ross! I thought you'd be a great candidate for this position!
Well that's a long time to be in space, i hope they have enough gas and oxygen and what not on that space ship/rocket. They might learn whats up there and how it moves and everything.
I agree. I think they will think about those kind of needs before they send him up.
I think its crazy that he wants to be in space that long, it will probably be boring
I think he's gonna party hard and have a great time.
NASA will learn a lot of things, not sure what but I'm sure there will be a lot to discover there. I would not go to space for a year, I think this might be a little to long.
I wouldn't go for that long either. But it's really cool that someone is willing to do this.
