A man sees a shark swimming toward a child and makes the shark go away. After that happened the man got fired. According to the video the man and his wife were on sick leave. This guy had doctors’ orders that he be on leave because of stress.
I think this is terribly wrong for the people to do this. If you look at the video it wasn’t even that stress to get the shark to leave. People are just not that incredibly intelligent. He did a good deed why can’t people just accept that. What are your thoughts about this?

This is a dumb reason to be fired, especially after saving a kid from a shark. I wonder how the guy scared the shark away?
well i think that is so stupid that he got fired because he saved that kids life, the situation could have went terribly wrong, they are wrong for firing him
What a guy does when he is on sick leave should not be the employers business. I am glad that he saved the child I just dont think it was right that he got fired.
How do you just get a shark to just leave if you tried to get it away you would just attract the attention to you and you become the victim that sucks for the guy that got fired
I think that man should have received a raise or promotion because he saved a life. Whoever was in charge of firing him should be fired.
wow thats a really weird story. if anything the man should be honored for saving the little boys life. crazy!
So this guy is stressed out and can't work bcause of it... let's fire him.. yeah! Great idea guys. Some people just need a high five to the face.
I suppose that makes sense. If he called in sick and his employer found out he lied, of course he would fire him, regardless of his heroic action. kind of sad that that is what did it though.
He saved a kid reward him not punish him for these actions. this is what is wrong with our life in america
