Man killed while directing traffic

A firefighter from minden was killed while directing traffic after a crash on Interstate 80. The accident was on the Pottawatomie and Shelby County borders. He was standing there directing traffic and a car came and hit him. He died at the scene. They flew his body to Des Monies for an atopsey.

    Wow, that is really sad.. :( It's horrible that he was just doing his job while someone else couldn't take the time to pay attention to what was going on in the road. These kinds of things make me wonder what this world is coming to...

    I was on the interstate when it was all backed up but i never knew what was going on at the time. holy cow that's freaky!

    i heard about this the day after it happened and i think my mom knows his name but i forgot it......i feel sorry for his family:(
