On novmeber 7, 1997 William Moldt went missing one night in plam beach county, Flordia, that same night he texted his girlfriend telling here that he would be home soon. Soon after that he was seen leaving the bar and getting into his vehical. Reportedly he did not seem entoxicated, sadly that night 22 years ago was unexspectedly the lastnight anyone would have seen him alive. For 22 years williams family was left with no answers to how he went missing, untill a neighbor of the neighborhood was looking on google maps of the town he lived in and noticed a object in the water surrounded by homes. After reporting to police and then taking the sumerged vehcial out of the water they opened the car doors and saw what looked to be skelton remains before reporting to anyone they had them and taken to a lab and they were confrimed to be william modts remains and now his family will have closure now knowing what happened to him.

If I had drove into the pond I would have been really scared and sad because I know I wouldn't be able to open the car doors once submerged in the water. I can't imagine how William Moldt felt right before he died. If I were a police officer, I think that I'd be happy to finally close the case and help bring closure to the family.
I think I wouldn't be able to do anything, i could try and break a window or escaping depends on how it happened and if it was a safe way to do it. I would be very surprised to hear the story but also sad about hearing how and why it happened and how he ended up driving into the pond without anyone seeing or knowing about it.
I'm happy that his family and loved ones can now have that sense of closure on what happened to him. Surely that is heartbreaking news to hear, but I suppose there is a bit of solace in knowing for sure what happened. It's honestly so crazy what you can find on google maps now adays... there is some wack stuff on there.
1. - I would've tried to escape the vehicle and get to the surface of the water and swim out. Then again, this story sounds open-ended and you never know, their might've been other people there who were trying to kill him so the situation might be different depending what was going on at the time.
2. - I would be suprised and almost worried. The killers might still be out there, or maybe no one was trying to kill him. I would want to continue the search for him, but at the same time it happened so long ago that it might not even be worth it.
I would try to get out of the car as soon as possible and go to the hospital right away to see if you had any injuries then get help to get your car out. I would be really confused that we are just finding this now and its been in the pond for 22 years and nobody as came to us about it.
I would be super scared and try to get out as quickly as possible and go for help and also be super mad that my car is in a pond. I would be pretty nervous finding someone in there after 22 years that would be kinda scary.
TRied to get out but he was probably knocked out by the crash in which case he would have died anyways. I would have Seen it as a accident and appoligized to the family about the accident andclosed the case.
If I drove into the a pond I would try to get out as fast as I can. This is because the longer I wait the harder it will be to open the door or the window. If I was the investigating officer I would have just seen it as any other tragedy. It's sad, but there's nothing I could have done about it.
If I was in williams position id try not to run into a pond but if I could not avoid it I would try and do whatever I can to break the window or something . If I was the police officer investigating this I would try to see if there was foul play, Suicide, or just bad luck
