Man Pulls Over Cop

A Man in Washington state pulls over a cop and gives him a little advice just a few minutes after telling him that he is not going to give him a ticket. yes, a ticket that the man does not have the authority of giving. the cop was recorded driving and pulling over speeding citizens with an unmarked police car which is only legally able for use in undercover investigations. the man gave him a talk about upholding the law and breaking it and gave him a warning. he offered the advice of taking the car back and taking the day of to the police officer. Was the cop only trying to protect traffic and do his job i just don't know.

What are your thoughts and whose side are you on?

  • At this time, it is illegal for police officers to use unmarked cars for regular traffic enforcement. In truth, I think that it would be a great idea for them to do so, as the only people who have something to fear about the undercover officers are the ones that are breaking the law themselves. Having the idea that a police officer is watching your speed at any time is another reason for people to stay within the legal speed limit.

With that being said, officers can not use an unmarked car at this time, so this police officer was in the wrong and should not have been giving out tickets.

  • He shouldn't be able to get away with breaking the law just because hes a cop.

  • I'm on the guys side, if the cop is breaking the law, he's breaking the law plain and simple.

  • well i think he should be punished a little but also  he might have been doing a god thing, he could have made a statement that you shouldn't speed or break the law even when you don't think the police are near, like the guy he pulled over probably thought

  • I think that the cop should have been in an actual police vehicle and he deserved to be pulled over. His job is to enforce the law, not break it.

  • I don't think he should be able to pull people over if he isn't even a real cop. But at least he was giving the cop some advice I guess.

  • Because you can make citizens arrest i think it was more about him making his point than the real consequences of his actions

  • He wasn't even a real cop so why was he pulling people over?
