Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Des Moines. This happened over the weekend recently. Des Moines Police Sgt. Paul Parizek said the guy that was shot was 28 years old. This man died Sunday afternoon after he was shot several times. The man was found by a white vehicle. A 25 year old women was in a car with her two kids while the shooting happened. The kids and the women are unhurt. This is the 9th homicide of the year in Des Moines.

I don;t think the story was a great choice as there just isn't much that can be discussed about it. Your questions also could be better but are really limited with the story choice. Good job replying but be sure to reply three different days next time.
The guy was obviously the only one targeted in the incident. Not really because Des Moines is a good sized city so nine is a very small number compared to a lot of citites in todays world.
Yes, maybe that is the reason behind the shooting. But, we might not ever know what happened or, what his true motive was. But I do agree it is a small number compared to other citites.
I think that the kids and women were not shoot because someone probally shot the man for something that he had done in the past. Therefore the women and kids were unharmed becasue they were not involved in the past events. I think that 9 homicide cases in Des Moines this year is not that high compared to other places in the world. However it is still not the best.
Well yes the women and the child weren't harmed but maybe he didn't see them or maybe he seen them but he heard the sirens and tried to run. But yea I agree it isn't the best. We shouldn't have any murders though that is what this world has come to that 9 is ok just because other cities have more.
Considering that Des Moines is the biggest city in Iowa with, 200,000 some people there, I don't think thats bad.

I think the attack was only against the man and the shooteronly wanted to hurt him. Yes I think it's high because in other countries things like that happen maybe once a year. I am from Switzerland and I have never really heard that things like that happened a lot.
Beuccuse mabie the guy did somthing worng or the shooter is crazy or he just thought it was not the right tging to shoot a girl with her chioldren with her and for des moines i think it is acually prity low because there are allot of bad peole there and it is a very big placee with allot of pepole to do this to
1.) Maybe the guy was targetted for some reason and the kids and the women wasn't part of it so they didn't want to kill them too. 2.) I don't really read into this stuff, but I don't think that 9 is really high.
