Steve Weber Jr. was dating a women named Kenesha Antoine. Kenesha was a teacher so Steve being the great loving man he is had her students help him out with an idea of how to propose to her. They eventually came up with the idea of asking her underwater through a note in a ziplock bag. So, while they were on vacation in Tanzania he attempted to do this. Why or why wasn't this proposal maybe taken to far in terms of danger?
I personally think that it wasn't taken to far in any way. There could have been different ways to play this out safer. He sadly passed away but from the looks of it was a very beautiful soul and would probably ask her in the same way a million times maybe just safer.
What is your best idea for pulling off this proposal in the safest way possible?
I think that this could have been pulled off with maybe proper diving gear. Instead of freelance diving he should have had some sort of scuba gear and known how long he could really hold his breath.

I think this proposal is way to far, he could've just took her to a nice dinner and proposed but he chose to do it underwater and not plan things out very much so i dont feel bad for him but i do feel bad for the girl that had to watch him die and here was nothing she could do about it.
I agree sometimes things are taken way out of proportion when things could be done much simpler and more pleasurable. I mean i kinda feel bad for the guy because dieing cant be to fun.
I think it was a little bit too far because he had a risk chance of getting hurt or even dying because he had no air and he did. Having a profesional scuba diver go down with u with proper scuba equipment and have a air tank with him.
YOu know what they say ,sometimes the risk is worth the reward. Unless the reward is dying and never getting to marry the love of your life. I think even if he just had a snorkel or something would have been an even better idea.
I personally believe that maybe he should have like brought his girlfriend to the side of the water and then maybe they could have jumped in together. This would have made it to where he would not of had to be under water for as long. This just makes it so there under water for less amount of time.
yes it would of been safer if they took another route like they did the proposel in a restrount or somewhere differnt and romantic
I think the safest way this could have been done is to do it in a very shallow part of the water and make it stand out so it is easily seen. Or doing it during a diving trip with oxygen masks.
I agree completely. But, in my understanding the way this was set up was she was behind some sort of glass wall or retaining wall somewhere and he dove down pretty deep so she could see him through the looking glass.
I think it was very creative but was taken a bit too far. If he at least would have taken a trip back up while she found the note to breathe it wouldnt have ruined it all. So yes I think it was taken a little bit too far.
