A surgeon, Richard Bastista, donated his kidney to his wife to save her life 8 years ago. He did it for love of her after he was found to be the perfect match. Then his wife repaid his kindness by having an affair then filing for divorce. The break up has been drug out for three years because he wants the value of his kidney back. (he wants the money worth of his kidney, not the kidney itself)People say that he can't ask for money because his kidney was a gift. What do you think? Should he get the money or not?

Wow, she;s not a very nice wife. She literally has this man's organ inside her to save her life and she does that to him? Well, he sounds like an "indian giver" to me. Which basically means giving someone a gift then wanting it back.
Its defnitely a gift. He gave it to her out of the kindness of his heart, to save her life. I think its being selfish an rude to ask for the value of his kindney back.
um, no. that's dumb. i mean i feel bad for the dude that his wife cheated on him and all but... thats more of a personal problem. i think that he should just get over it, and hope nothing happens to his other kidney.
