Malaysia’s government fixes fuel prices below the market rate for consumers and pays the subsidies, but they benefit the rich. So Malaysia decided to cut fuel subsidies to fund welfare payments for the poor(Low-income households will receive 29% higher welfare payments).
The fund welfare might help economy develop, but help the poor is good for society security. Everything has both sides, sometimes it's hard to tell the consequences, but if we make efforts, it seems more positive!
What do you think?

I think its good that the government is helping out its citizens, but hopefully doing this won't have any negative effects on the fuel or economy.
Yeah, I considered about that too. Just a practice, the government could have a try
I think that the fact that they are trying to help the poor is a very good thing because i would imagine living in poverty would be terrible.
Yeah, it's hard to imagine someone live with 1 dollar a day, they need food, medical support, clothing
