List of Banned words for 2012?!

Some of the words include "baby bump, shared sacrifice, win the future, occupy, ginormous, man cave, & the new normal"They come up with these words according to either their overuse or their uselessness.What? A banned word list? This is actually the 37th year they've done this! The college conducting this list is Lake Superior State University in Michigan.Something i found actually suprising was that there were many nomonies for adding the word "amazing" to this list. Apparently, it is over used in the English language.What doesn't make sense to me is that no matter what, people are probably still going to use these words, so it almost seems like a big waste of time.What are your thoughts on the list, and the words in the list?http://www.usatoday.com/news/offbeat/story/2011-12-30/banned-words-list/52287668/1

I think this is dumb. Why would they banned baby bump everybody uses it. And man cave really that's just a word that describes itself.

Half of the words on this list aren't even used. This is a stupid list, everyone is still going to use these words.

what are they going to do? arrest me for using those words? they cant tell me what to do. plus its a violation of freedom of speech
