Lightning fast mobile devices in next few years?

The UN announced that new mobile devices could have internet that is 500 times faster than today's 3G network. It will become available as soon as the UN approves it for international use. Internet at this speed could completely eliminate wait time between tapping on a link and having it open. I'm very excited for this, are you?

    That could change a lot of things including saving your precious time. I can't imagine them being any faster and I wonder how they are making them faster and they didn't know about it earlier. Sometimes I wonder if companies like this just slowly get better and not put out the best things they can so they have room to improve and then people end up buying two things instead of just one.
