Library Fine Leads to Jail Time

A woman, from Iowa, was arrested for not paying a library fine of $13.95. its was no doubt a brave and noble win for the police. Way to go guys, that's not ridiculous at all! I am definatly going to pay my library fine asap.

Crazy. Why didnt the lady ever pay the fine? It's not even like its that much.

thats embarrassing that the cops have nothing to do except arrest somebody for not paying a library fine

Wow arresting someone for owing $14 to a library that's a new one. Cops must be getting really bored or something if they arrest someone for a library fine.

  I agree that getting arrested for having a 14 dollar library fine is ridiculous. Maybe the cops should spend their time looking for real criminals.

and to think there are mass murderers running loose... and police are arresting people with overdue library fines.. bravo.
