This article is about the Senate passing a bill that would outlaw discriminating anyone in the LGBT community. It would have the same protection for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community as our nation has for gender, race, or religion. However, this article explains how the Republican majority house may deny the bill.
In my opinion that anyone could oppose this bill is ridiculous. Segregation is segregation Discrimination is discrimination. Whether it is from someone's skin color or their sexual orientation. As John F. Kennedy said many years ago, "The promise of America will never be fulfilled as long as justice is denied to even one among us."
What are your thoughts on the bill? And the opposing of the bill?

Well done!
I think the bill is a good idea because all people are people. There's nothing wrong with them if they are a different race or sexual orientation. I hope the bill is passed. I don't see why the Republican majority house would deny it.
I want this bill to be passed so bad! I am not any of these, but I have friends who are and I support them 100% and I want them to be happy without being discriminated against. People are people and if someone doesn't accept that; well, they must be pretty heartless.Anyone opposing this are heartless, cruel, and probably prejudiced about everything.
Once again, you have summed up my feelings exactly.
I don't think it's right that people are judging people for their sexual race.
It's actually called sexual orientation*
I think it's terrible that people even think about going against others choices. Let them do what they want it's not going to bother anyone else.
I agree completely!
I completely agree with you, I think it's ridiculous because people are people no matter who they love.
Who they love has no effect on their work ethic.
