Left for good

There was a 21 year old man with cerebral palsy left in the woods. The mother dropped him off with nothing, but a blanket and a bible. She was going to abandon him, and go visit her boyfriend in Maryland. The police found him that night just laying there four days later. He suffered eye problem dehydration, and malnutrition. The mother has a whole bunch of charges now.

How long do you think the woman should be put in jail?

What would you do if you saw a man laying in the woods?

I think she should be put in jail for at least 6 years for doing something like that. I would definitely call the police and make sure he was alright.

I think that the mom should go to jail for very, very long time. I would probably call the police because I didn't know anything about the person.

I have no idea how long she is going to be in jail but I hope its a long time. No one deserves to be abandoned

I think she should go to jail for many years and have fines. This is not right to do to your kid just to go visit your boyfriend. She should have asked somebody to stay with him while she left.

Yes, I think she should be charged with something. I mean it's not easy to have a kid with cerebral palsy but as a mom, she shouldn't abandon her child... She could have reached for help.

I think that she should just have the kid taken from her. I would go find out why he is there if he did have a tent to sleep in.

I think she should be in jail for the rest of her life. That was her son, and she abandoned him. That is horrible. I would help the man. No one deserves to be abandoned. They need help. and someone to look after them. People like the son look to us for help.

This is just ridiculous if you cant take care of your kid then dont have him in the forst place and if you cant change that put him up for adoption. If i came up to him i would definitely help the poor man.
