After the former football play Colin Kaepernick settled his collusion grievance with the NFL LeBron James coninued to show his support for Kaepernick. While the NBA All-Star Weekend went on LeBron said he respects Karpernick for the sacrifice he made to make more people aware to issues of socail and racial injustice. LeBron has raised his voice over the past two years about his support for the quaterback Kaepernick. Leborn's September saying "I stand with Nike, all day, every day," this was when the company released an ad campaign featuring Kaepernick. Although LeBron isn't the only person supporting him there are many other celebs that support him. There are also many people who think what he did was very wrong. What is your opinion on this entire thing?

I disagree with Colin Kaepernick, he was not being oppressed and had no reason to kneel for the flag. I think it is good that he is not playing anymore. I really don't care about which celebrities do and don't support Colin Kaepernick.
I do not think he should have kneeled during the anthem. He should have expressed his feelings a different way. I find this very disrespectful and It was very inappariate to do what he did. I think the conequences are fair. I never really paid much attention to LeBron James because I do not care about him.
I do not agree with him because he decided to kneel during the national anthem. The way that he is trying to bring awareness to social and racial injustice is not the right way to do it. Kneeling during the national anthem will not solve any problems, it creates them. The consequences he is receiving is fair and knowing that LeBron James, who is very looked up to in sports, changes my outlook on him and any others who support him.
I agree, I think no one should kneel for the national anthem because it so disrepectful to anyone who has risked their lives and fought for us. Who knows maybe without those people he may have never even been at the place where he was without them. I think that his message should be heard, but presented in a different way.
I think that people should be able to express themselves however they see fit. I do not, however, think that they should kneel during the national anthem. They would not be where they are without this great country. It has given them everything they have, because they would just be unrecognized skill, or even no skill at all. I think that yes he should be able to speak his mind on what he thinks, but his actions defiently where VERY disresepctful towards anyone who has fought, is fighting, or passed while doing it. The national anthem is all about our country and soldiers who died to defend it. Nothing in it has discrimination. But he has every right to kneel. I think the consequences are fair. Being a military child myself, I know how much people sacrifce for our country. I do like Lebron James, but I think he is wrong this time.
I agree that is very disrespectful to all of those who are fighting, fought, or passed while fighting for our country because if you really think about it would he have the opportunities that he does today without them. 1. I do not stand with Kapernick because kneeling during the antional anthem is basically like disrespecting our flag. He has no idea how much people sacrifice fighting for our country. I believe that if he got sent to war fora couple of months he would think twice for kneeling.
