Leaving masks in the past could be a reality for a lot of Americans that are fully vaccinated. On Thursday, the CDC came out with new guidelines saying, that those who are fully vaccinated agest covid do not have to wear masks. There are a few exceptions when people who are fully vaccinated have to wear masks. Masks will still have to be worn on public transportation, medical establishments, and private businesses. Those that have a medical condition or weakened immune system are still encouraged to wear masks even if they are fully vaccinated. Fully vaccinated people are those that are 2 or more weeks post their last dose of covid vaccine.
The news that fully vaccinated people do not have to wear masks is wonderful news for a lot of people. With the prospect of not having to wear a mask, the option of getting vaccinated agest covid is looking like a promising choice. Although with this good news, there is a downside, how are we supposed to know who is vaccinated and who is just not wearing a mask? Personally, I do not really care if you're wearing a mask or not. Do it does not, I don't wear a mask very often anyway, so I don't really see the point.

I think that there will be some people that say they are vaccinated when they aren't.

I agree with you, I hate waering a mask, but I would rather wear a msk than get a vaccine. With the lack of research that has been done, especially for long term side effects. I don't feel comfortable getting one for the time being
I agree with you! Wearing a mask was never a big deal to me but I love the idea of being mask free and not being forced to wear them everywhere. I think some people can just say they have been vaccinated and there will be no question about it. I think vaccine cards are going to become more popular to avoid that situation.
Yes, The idea of not having to wear a mask if I am fully vaccinated makes me want to get vaccinated because it is a step back to normalcy. I think that people will definitely fake being vaccinated because the same people that are against vaccinations are usually the same people that think masks don't work.
Although I am not very annoyed by the masks, It would finally be nice to finally stop wearing them. I really do not see people getting fake vaccinated because there are really no reason to do so. I think that once I finally get my vaccine I will finally stop wearing my mask.
I dont care if i get Vaccinated but i not just getting vaccinated just to take my mask off i already dont wear my mask. I dont think they will really get away with it becasue i bet you get like a paper or a little card thing that says you have been vaccinated. ya I bet people will try and say they are vaccinated but arnt vaccinated but i think they will get caught.
I don't think people will fake it or fake their vaccination. I think it they want into a place like an airport, they will have to have a card. I bet the card will show that they are vaccinated. I don't think people will get away with this. Also, I think some could get away with this if it's a smaller business and don't care.
I think this is really good news and it showing us the light at the end of the tunnel. The pandemic is finally coming to an end, so I think we should just keep opening things up and getting rid of masks. Obviously, unvaccinated people should still be careful and not visit those susceptible to COVID. I don't think proof of vaccination should be required to go places, though. I think that violates our privacy rights.
I think this is great news, it means that things are slowly getting back to normal. Since I am not vaccinated I will still wear a mask but this is really relieving for many people, especially older people. I agree though this might cause some problems with knowing who is vaccinated or not.
