Leaving masks in the past could be a reality for a lot of Americans that are fully vaccinated. On Thursday, the CDC came out with new guidelines saying, that those who are fully vaccinated agest covid do not have to wear masks. There are a few exceptions when people who are fully vaccinated have to wear masks. Masks will still have to be worn on public transportation, medical establishments, and private businesses. Those that have a medical condition or weakened immune system are still encouraged to wear masks even if they are fully vaccinated. Fully vaccinated people are those that are 2 or more weeks post their last dose of covid vaccine.
The news that fully vaccinated people do not have to wear masks is wonderful news for a lot of people. With the prospect of not having to wear a mask, the option of getting vaccinated agest covid is looking like a promising choice. Although with this good news, there is a downside, how are we supposed to know who is vaccinated and who is just not wearing a mask? Personally, I do not really care if you're wearing a mask or not. I think that there will be some people that say they are vaccinated when they aren't.

I personally think that they should research more and do more tests then give it to the public and the younger people. I still think that other vaccines work and I am happy that we are able to make them and I someday hope to be vaccinated, but not right now. I can see the point of masks but if you wash hands and sanitize more often then we dont really need masks. I do think that some people will fake being vaccinated.
I personally cannot get vaccinated due to medical conditions, but I feel as if a lot of people will get vaccinated. I get why people are getting vaccinated but to me, I cannot see the appeal to getting a vaccine that's only been out for a very short amount of time and has only been in the works for a little over a year. I do think that people will say they have been vaccinated or show fake proof that they have been, just to not wear a mask.
I do believe that many people will fake getting the vaccine, There are so many illegal ways to fake a certificate that says you have gotten your vaccine and you could just forge your name on to it and then most of the people and officials will think that they are real.
personally i am not going to get vaccinated because i dont believe in the vaccine. If it isnt gonna prevent me from getting the virus there is no point in getting the shot. unlike the flu shot it prevented you to a certain degree from getting the virus
I am personally not going to get vaccinated because I just don't want to I don't care if I have to get a mask but since they are starting to lift the mask mandates I don't have to worry. People may try to fake being vaccinated but if someone asks if you are vaccinated you are most likely going to have to show your vaccine card.
no the idea of not wearing mask if im vaccinated make me want to get vaccinated because i usually dont get any vaccinations anyway and i dont wear mask either. yes i do think that people will fake getting vaccinated because some people dont want to get vaccinated so yes people will do that
I think that it will incentivize some people to get the vaccine but it will also make some people want to lie about it and put others in danger. lying about having gotten the vaccine is a big deal because you could be putting lives in danger, especially those who have a higher risk of dying.
I don't believe that not wearing a mask will motivate people to get the vaccine, but rather just make more people lie about being vaccinated. Most people only get vaccinated because of work-related reasons than for not the ability to not wear a mask in public areas. I can see the majority of people along with possibly me lying about being vaccinated in some scenarios.
You have a point. A lot of people will lie about being vaccinated and if there is ever a certain card or something to prove if you are vaccinated I am sure that will be an easy thing to copy and make fakes of. Most people are only getting vaccinated for work reasons too and that is not very good motivation.
It is really nice not having to wear masks although it is a risk since there are still a lot of people who haven't gotten the vaccine yet. I don't think not wearing a maks motivates me to get a vaccine because I still think you could spread it if you had the vaccine so it doesn't matter.
