Scotland Church leaders fear that new legislation will lead to couples being married by Jedi Knights. The Free Church of Scotland is worried the new Marriage and Civil Partnership Bill contains a massive loophole. They are particulary concerned that it allows for a third "belief" based form of marriage, as well as the existing religious marriages and civil parternerships.
Reverend Iver Martin said: "The third category is quite astonishing because it is the so-called belief category without really defining what belief means. There are loads of people in a diverse society like this for whom belief can mean virtually anything - the Flat Earth Society and Jedi Knights Society - who knows? I am not saying that we don't give place to that kind of personal belief, but when you start making allowances for marriages to be performed within those categories then you are all over the place."
I don't see why they are so worried about it, yes people can go through the drive through wedding in Vegas, but that is Vegas, not Scotland, therefore I say, if the rednecks and sci-fis are gonna do it, then let them do it.

I think being married by a jedi would be pretty awesome if you ask me. Jedi arre people too and we should give them rights.
what's wrong with this. If people can be married through god why can't they be married through the force? I for one would love to married by a Jedi Knight. the bill probably isn't the best for LGTB couples as it probably only lets them have civil unions judging by the name, but I'm glad they are making progressive steps towards Jedi Knight equality.
