A US man was arrested after he held up a convenience store with a stick - then tried to make his getaway on a lawn mower.
Police say Ricky New, oh he's s~o new at the art of theft, of Aiken, South Carolina, has been charged with assault and armed robbery following the "stick up".
He is accused of walking into the Kent's Korner store where he ordered the clerks to "give me your **** money".
He began to hit one of the clerks with the stick so she threw her arm up to protect herself from the attack and was struck on the arm several times. (she's bruised but otherwise unharmed)
He received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on his getaway vehicle - a Craftsman riding lawn mower.
Sheriff's deputies caught up with Wood, who had disguised his identity but putting a white tower over his head, a short time later.
And wow... Dude, he could've burnt his face off and dressed himself like a girl but he still would've gotten caught because what kind of moron drives a lawn mower as a getaway vehicle?
