Chris Walton has been working on her fingernails for 18 years. And it's finally paying off.Guinness World Records named Walton the woman with the longest fingernails on Wednesday, introducing "The Dutchess" and her nails at a New York City event. The Las Vegas woman helped kick off the 2012 edition of the Guinness World Records book, which goes on sale later this month.Dalton's nails measure a total of 10 feet, 2 inches on her left hand and 9 feet, 7 inches on her right hand. would you ever grow your nails this long

Ewwww! That sends a shiver down my spine! There is nothing she could do for herself because the nails would in the way!! Yuck!

Ew. Imagine trying to dial a phone, text, type, or even pick up a pencil! That's disgusting. I'd never ever let my nails grow that long. I keep my nails generally short.

no i would never grow my nails that long! how could she even function? eat, shower,sleep, use a phone...?

eww. i personally think this is discusting! how could you even do anything with such long nails. you couldnt move your hands or pick anything up! she couldnt even feed herself. and wouldnt that hurt? to have them weigh you down? and how would you clip them when you won the record? a saw??
