Clearly not having an education is not ideal, but there are also many underlying problems for people who are not educated. “People who lack education have trouble getting ahead in life, have worse health and are poorer than the well-educated. Major effects of lack of education include: poor health, lack of a voice, shorter lifespan, unemployment, and exploitation.” All of these issues are very important because eventually this lack of education turns into a cycle of poverty. There are also many issues in the education system, such as, quality of education, affordability for education, and lack of facilities/ teacher shortages.
They’re also social/personal benefits that come from getting a good education, for example, socializing and networking, personal development skills, and experimentation and diversity. Socializing let’s students get to know like minded people on a peer or mentor basis. There are so many opportunities for kids to get to meet new people through school and everything else their education will bring them. Personal development skills are incredibly important if you are wanting the career you want later on in life. These skills will give you more productivity, better communication, critical thinking skills, and a better sense of discipline. An important benefit to getting an education is all the opportunities you get to grow as an individual. Students now get to experiment what they are passionate about and figure out what they want to do later in life.
Without a decent education, many students all over won’t get any opportunities like this. Students with the lack of quality of education, affordability for education, and lack of facilities/teacher shortages are being deprived of a good social life and career later on in their lives. I believe that a decent education is essential for a successful life after high school. It is so important because it helps us overcome obstacles in our life and gives students the ability to do things on their own. Education plays a deep role in everyone’s life because it develops one’s knowledge and skills.
What do you think is wrong with the education system?
How do you think the teacher shortages affect students?

Very well done Rylie! While there has been numeorus education topics this year, nothing quite like this so +5.
I think the teacher shortages make it harder for the school to teach more children in a day. But the few teacher that are teaching get paid more, I assume. I could imagine that teachers would have to start teaching more than one subject at a time too.
I think that a student should be properly teached so they have well education, before advancing in life. I think the system we are using is just a waste of time and just because of that I dont even want to go to school. I dont need to know what function is in math or none of that. We NEED to learn real life tools and how to mange money.
I think that students education should be prioritized and marked as important. I think school systems are failing and falling short of the knowlege we need. I think we learn lot's of things we don't use in life, but are not taught the main and everyday life things.
I agree that even though student education is a priority school systems are falling short.
One of the things that is wrong with the education system is that we are tought subjects that will not help us later in the future. I think that the lack of teachers can affect students who need help one on one. Overall, I think that the school system should change.
I agree that there are subjects taught that we dont need.
I think that there is a lot of stuff we learn that we dont really need in life. We should be learning how to get into the real world and stuff we need to know about being an adult. With there not being enough techers is a problem bc then there is no one to teach us.
I agree there should be more classes having to do with the real world when we get out of school.
I think a lack of education is definetely that children learna a foreign language way too late. It is way easier to learn a language when you are young. If school would start teaching languages from first garde on, then it would be easier for students. I think that the shortage of teachers does effect the studnets because a lot of classes can not be taught because there are not enough teacher for that certain class.
