  • I think he should have checked the bus and yeah i guess he deserved getting fired but he wouldn't have known. It would have been like any other day and he wouldn't think any more of it. Im sure he wouldn't check the bus EVERY day. The other kids probiably should have told him, too.

  • I personally don't think he deserves to be fired, but definitely warned. Giving him a warning would be better because he could of forgot to check the bus, or maybe the kid didn't want to go home and he tried to hide from the bus driver. If he was warned he would still have a job, if there was another kid that was left on the bus for a second time then he deserves to be fired.

  • haha .. yea maybe he deserves be fired ... but the kid should woke up or atleast his/her frinds should woke him/her up..

  • I don't think he deserved to be fired because how many bus drivers actually check their buses when their done to make sure no kids are still on it? The kid shouldn't of fallen asleep or some other kid should have woken him up or told the bus driver their was a kid still sleeping on the bus.

  • Maybe, you would think that other kids would see him on the bus still. If you were the bus driver how many times would you think about someone being asleep. It shouldnt have to be the drivers job to make sure that everyone is off, if should be the school and the bus barns job.

  • If thats part of their job to check the bus then yes he should get fired. But why didnt anybody else notice the kid sleeping on the bus or the kid still there?

  • I don't think he should have been fired, but he needs to check the bus before he leaves. He should get in trouble for it, but everyone makes mistakes, and if it happens again then yes he should be fired.

  • Yes because it is his job to make sure all the kids are off the bus. Enough said!

  • Yeah i think it was right for the bus driver to get fired because it was his jobs to check the seats, and he didn't do it. This happened to one of my friends who is now in middle school, but our bus driver was responsible and checked the seats and that's when he found the kid. So he deserves to be fired!!

  • this has happened to me.... very scary! especially if ur little!!
