After 70 surgeries after an IED explosion. He is still in the hospital recovering. He and his wife even got married in the hospital. Walking he can't do on his own yet. It has gotten better though. There is an "operation finally home." where the couple wants to move to Michigan and raise a family. They will get a free home along with other military people with injures. A man named Dan and Kid Rock wanted to build a home for this family.
This is an amazingly sad and happy ending story. I am sad to think that he had to go through with surgeries and the bills that came in with them and his wife still wanted to be with him is truly amazing. I'm glad that the couple gets a bran new home where they wanted. seeing be able to walk after so long is so good.

that is a lot of surgeries... but it is an amazinging story of help by kid rock. i wish everyone could do what they do.
This is such a cute story! It's awful that he has to go through so many surgeries and deal with all of this. I"m glad he gets a free house and that his wife is still with him! Hopefully everything will be ok and he'll be able to walk by himself again soon.
