Joe Paterno statue removed?

Stories have it that Penn State is going to remove the Joe Paterno statuefrom the front of Beaver Stadium. They are doing this to avoid riots.

I think they are going way to far with this! What make you think students aren't going to riot when you get rid of it? What are your thoughts?

I am personally a big fan of Paterno. I've been hearing his name and his great success on the tv ever since I was a little kid. I am hugely dissappointed at everything that has happend involving him.

Joe paterno is what made Penn State and its sad to see that they are actually taking down his statue.

I think that the students will protest either way. Some will want to keep it and some will want it removed. So whatever they end up doing, it's going to be a no win situation.

there probably is going to be a lot of commotion about this, but idk if they should keep the statue up or not.?

Yes he did do something wrong, but he is a college football legend and at the least, deserves to have a statue in front of the stadium.

Well i dont know it should be removed or not....i mean if he did molest them kids then i think it should be removed but if not then no it shouldnt be removed. Also he was a coach for a really long time and obviously was a really good coach so i dont know.

i think that was probably good to do so just for a little while anyways and then put it back in like 6 months when everything settles down a litttle bit

it might be a little to far. you cant really say that ther will be riots and his ha scontributed to the school.

He has been the coach for that team for years I don't think they should take down the statue of him. I think they should keep it that way everyone remembers him.

i think what they are doing is dumb. just because he witnessed it and he told the person above him and they didnt do anything he has to suffer. this is gunna be a big riot.
