Jay Leno's farewell

Last night was Jay Leno's final show. After 22 years of being a host, he handed it down to Jimmy Fallon. He talked about how those 22 years of him being the host was the best 22 years of his life. Saying a heart felt goodbye brought him into tears. He talked about how lucky he was to meet the people he did that came on his show and how much those 22 years meant the world to him. Watching his last show was pretty hard on him and I bet it was harder to most viewers.

How do you feel about Jay Leno leaving after 22 years?

  • Well done Alison!

  • I think it was time! 22 years was a long good time.

    • It was just sad to see him leave because he was crying and saying how those 22 years were the best

  • Jay Leno is one of the most iconic people in America. He has had a great career and will probably appear on episode of the show in the future.

    • He was a great man that enjoyed his show biz very much, I hope to see him back on TV soon doing what he loves

  • He probably got tired of doing that for so many years so he decided to quit it.

    • From having his own show and being known for his large car collection, he didnt have much else

  • 22 years is a long time to host your own show. He probably thought it was about time to settle down.

    • I just feel like he didnt want to give the position to Jimmy Fallon, no one can do it better than Jay Leno could

  • After awhile doing the same thing for that many years you sometimes just want to start doing something new, I think it was time.
