All social studies students will be graded on their ITED Social Studies score this year. It is based on being proficient(41%) or improving your score from the previous year. We will also be using the Extra Credit Incentive system as well. More on that later. This is how we will grade students for the ITED: 1. Students who are proficient will get a 100% score added to their 2nd quarter grade. 2. Students who increase their score, regardless of proficiency, will get a 100% score added to their 2nd quarter grade. 3. Students who are not proficient and their score drops by 1-4 points will get a 75% test grade added to their 2nd quarter grade. 4. Students who are not proficient and their score drops by 5-9 points will get a 70% test grade added to their 2nd quarter grade. 5. Students who are not proficient and their score drops by 10 points or more will get a 65% test grade added to their 2nd quarter grade **The number of points a test is will be determined by each teacher.

I think that this is a very good way to make people try on their test, and it is going to be very easy to get 100% as long as you try your best. If you don't try it makes our school look bad.
