Italian Ship Wreck; Manslaughter?

You've all pry heard of the cruise ship that wrecked by the coast of Italy. Turns out that the captain may be charged with manslaughter. The captain veered off course on PURPOSE. He was not spose to do that. AND he was the first one off the ship. After three days of being able to talk to his lawyer, he finally came out and said that "I'm clumsy". Claiming that he tripped and fell into the life boat and leaving the rest of the passengers and staff on the cruise to sink. Turns out he has taken this path many times before and has came within "spitting distance" of the reef that he ran into to make the cruise ship sink.

What a jerk! The captain should be the last one to leave the ship. That's basically a captain's code or something. I hope he gets the charges.

All those people expected their captain to lead them safely to their destination and he was as dumb as a person can possibely be. I hope he gets charged with more than that, but that's just hopes... And how do you "accidently" trip into the life boat? I don't think you can accidently do that.

That sure is stupid. Why would he do that? I think he should get charged with manslaughter because that is mean! Sounds like he is really selfish.

I think he deserves to be charged with manslaughter, since he veered off course on purpose. I agree that the captain should be the last one to get off the ship not the first. He should be held responsibe for the Italian ship wreck.

What a jerk! He was dumb enough to wreck the ship and then selfish enough to be the first one off. Way to be a great captain. Captains are suppose to be VERY cautious and protect the people on the ship. All of their lives were in his hands and he decieded to be dumb and selfish. Ugh!

I saw this on the news and I think it's terrible because lots of people were on that ship. I think the captian should get charged no matter what because as the Captain of the ship he was in charge of everybodies life. So He should get punished.
