A man from Italy, identified only as Francesco F., adopted up to 15 cats over a two year span from various shelters. He was very particular, only adopting black cats about three years old that were very plump. After receiving reports from neighbors, officials began to wonder about him. He was caught while preparing to kill a cat for his dinner. He was confused and asked if eating cats was illegal. If found guilty, he could face up to a year in jail and or a fine of $20,487. Do you think the sentence is too tough? If it was legal to eat cat, would you try it?

I would definitely not eat a cat if it was legal. I think he's a little weird to be that specific over the cats he eats. I do think the fine and jail time are fair.
I would eat a cat if I had to and was starving. But ya taking pet cats and eating them isn't right.
I think they should lower the fine a little. That is absolutely gross though. I would never even thinking about trying a cat.
This seems very weird. I can understand that the cats had to be big, but why black and three years old? I think the money amount seems really high, but a year in prison for animal cruelty seems alright.
three years is when cat is fully grown and probably had plenty of time to put some fat on.
Well it is a crime so he should be fined, when they were sheltered cats, they should be given to a family that would treat them right and not eat them.

No I probably wouldnt eat a cat but let the man do what he wants. If I wanted to eat sombodys pet cow that they didnt want, then hey I like beef. Dont fine the man over it. He just has a taste for cats. It would not stop me from eating a hamburger if the cow was somebodys pet.
