Meteoralogist say there is a chance that winds coming from Canada may cause a wintery mix of sleet, rain, and even snow! If this were to come true, it would be the latest snow since May 11, 1945. The snow won't hit us luckily. If it falls, the weather will affect Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. This kind of weather hitting this late in the year will be a huge hit for many farmers in the area! Lots of planting has been done already and a frost this late would ruin many feilds.

Questions
If you were in the farmers shoes, what would you do to prepare?
I would first off be extreamly upset, I would try to ge tas much feed around as I could for the animals and try to hold off on planting anything that hasn't already.
DO you think that global warming is the cause of the weather change?
I think it could be a small part, but if this had already happened once in 1945 then it could just be a coincidence.

Overall, your summary is a bit brief. Good job replying to comments! -5 late
If I were a farmer in these areas, I would not try to do any planting in case sno was coming through. I would also gear up my 2006 Chevy Silverado for the snow. When this happened in 1945, no one was probably calling it global warming, so I don't see why it would be now.
i do not think it is because it hasn't happened for quite some time now so i doubt it is becuase of global warming. i could be wrong but i just dont thing it is.
i would be a bit worried about animals and fields if they have already been plated. i would get plenty of feed around right before it supposed to snow and hold off on fields that havent been planted yet.
I don't know much about farming at all, but I would prepare financially and know it is going to be a hard year if the snow ruins all the crops already planted and probably do what you said. I think global warming could be a part of it but I don't think it is the main reason for the late snow.
I would wait to plant crops until I knew for sure if there was going to be a snow or not, because if I planted crops and it snowed or sleeted really hard and my hard work was ruined just like that, I would be furious.
I agree Carter, It would be a waste of time to worry about trying to plant crops if snow was coming. The snow would ruin the crops and the farmers would have to do a lot of replanting.
I am not a farmer but I can totally see where someone who is, would be very upset about the weather. If I were a farmer, I would hold off on planting what hasn't already been planted. I do think that global warming could be affecting the weather changes, but as you stated, it could just be a coincidence.
I agree with you Kylie, that even though someone is not a farmer or doesn't know many farmers, they can still realize the frusturation of the farmers who put a lot of hard work into their fields.
If I found this out I would be mad because of all the hard work I had just put in to get my field ready for harvest. I think that global warming has a small percent but I don't think I is affecting it to badly.
