In Bangladesh a building collapsed today killing over 100 people and thousands of people injured. Five months prior to this they had a fire in the same building. On Tuesday, people had found cracks in some of the building, and many shops and banks had closed their businesses, but the factories ordered their people to continue to work on Wednesday even though the conditions weren't safe. This building was a place for many different businesses and factories. The factories made European and American clothes.
I feel bad for the people who lost their lives. You have to stop and wonder what the people who are still alive are thinking. There are many "what ifs" in a situation like this, but one can only accept what happened and go from there. Many will be and are mourning the loss of loved ones. This could happen anywhere and at any time. It makes you realize how fortunate we are to live in a place where we know whether or not a building is safe or not. It also should make people realize how lucky they are to be able to be with their family tonight. This is the third major tragedy in the last week. The bombings in Boston, the fertilizer plant in Texas, and now this. Many lives have been lost. Stop and consider how lucky you are!

This is so sad! I'm sure all the people who survived feel very lucky too. I'm sure a lot of people are wishing they could have done something to prevent this.
This is sad! I hope the people that were injured are okay. I feel bad for the family's though. :(
this is horrible and it is ununderstable keep werking workers
That is just horrible! They should have shut down the building to make sure it was safe before people could go back to work in the first place. I hope all of the injured and their families can recover from this.
oh wow!! This company is probably gonna be sued! This is really sad i'm kinda nervous about the school falling down someday. Why didnt this company just fix the cracks and then let the people back in? The clothes in making could have waited cause see what happens?!?!
If that was to happen here the building would be shut down till it was approved to be safe again. we are very fortunate to know if something like this could happen to one of our buildings.
This is horrible! I don't understand why the factory would continue to make their employees work if they knew the building wasn't safe! Thought and prayer going out to their families!
wow, that's a ton of people. so sad. i guess you can't really be safe anywhere
It's so sad that people have to die in such large amounts for people to do something about it. Too much bloodshed every day in this world. We should keep the families in our hearts and minds
