Is it true that your phone is listening to you? Did you notice that you get advertisements from products you didn’t even google but you were talking about with the person next to you. How do you think that’s possible? Could it be the phone listening to you? Creepy right.
I did some research and it is actually true that our phone listens to our conversations. The information our phone gets from our conversations is used to create advertisements. So imagine you were talking to your friend about this new purse from Coach. The next day you're on your phone and an advertisement pops up from Coach about the same purse you were talking about yesterday. How does this happen you ask? Well when the phone hears this information they inform the companies so they can put advertisements on your phone to persuade you into buying. That is only one method that your phone uses to create advertisements. Your phone also uses your apps to steal information from you for advertising. Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, etc are all apps that your phone can get info from. The phone reads your messages and finds out what you're interested in. You may be worried now, but don’t be because our phones aren’t actually allowed to spy on you. Our phones need our permission to listen and to read our information and messages. We just don’t pay attention to our apps and we skip right through the part when it asks for our permission. In my opinion I think this is creepy. Just imagine what your phone knows and is telling strangers.

I think its just something someone talks about then it get everyone else worried. There is noone listening to us. I am not scared, and I am not worried about this or my safefty at all, just a conspiarcy.
I don't think its scary or that people should be worried about it because its kind of helpful if you are talking about something you need then it pops up on an ad on your phone and you can get it from there.
I do think that phones listening to us is creepy and all that, but im am not scared about it althought is strange and some people are. I think that if someone really wanted to know a bunch of things about me they you have a great time finding it all out all. i think that if someone really got a bunch of information about me they wouldnt want to listen anymore, so im fine how it is now with my phone listing to me.

I think that it is somewhat nice if a phone would listen to you talk about something you need to get like groceries or something then your phone could have suggested items for you to buy wich would be nice beacause it would save time shopping online and it would make it easier.

It doesn't scare me that my phone is listening to me all the time because nothing bad has happened to me. I think it is a little bit creepy that they know so much about us. I think we don't even notice when we allow apps to do it.
I think that if someone really want to listen your phone he can or the companies. Sometimes it’s scary when I talk about anything I want to have, and my phone is showing me ana add of it. All in all, it doesn't scare me too much, but it is still weird that you don't have 100% privacy.
