One of Trump's recent tweets talked about how Kim Jong Un has a "Nuclear Button" on his desk all of the time. Kim acts as if it is ready to be pushed at any moment if necessary. Trump then continues to explain that the United States is also capable of pressing a button that much larger and far more powerful than theirs. This makes the US look much bigger and more powerful than we might be. When Trump continues to tweet out and publicize that we are capable of launching something nuclear, it makes the United States look very large and powerful. This might sound good but in reality if we aren't able to do the things we say that we can or if we are not able to fire the things that he says we are it will look even worse on our country and give North Korea more power.
This tweet brought up many questions from the public. Many are wondering if this is acceptable to be on the site. They think that consequences should be given to Trump and he should be held accountable for his actions. Trump has a tendency to put lots of his life out there and it could possible backfire on him. This holds a lot of pressure on the Twitter company. They have to make a choice whether to let Trump to continue to do this or to remove or ban his profile from the social media chain.

1) Do you think that Trump should be punished for tweeting about life-threatening things?
2) If so what do you think his punishment should be?
3) If North Korea decides to send over nuclear bombs would many people turn to Trump for the reasoning?
My answers....
I do not think he should be "punished" but I do think that he needs to be very careful about what he puts on media. He is supposed to be the representative of our country and if he is tweeting things like this that can cause many lives to be taken he needs to think twice. I would hope that if anything between us and North Korea does occur that Trump does have to do with the reasoning of the event.

I think that he should be punished he is the president and acting like a child in response to North Korea really gets no one anywhere. He tweets things like this when North and South Korea finally have communications between the two after decades. Antagonizing North Korea will do no good. If it was a member of congress or any other branch people would be calling for repercussions so why is Trump exempt from this? I strongly believe that Trump's Twitter account should be deactivated. I don’t know if I would say that Trump would be 100% to blame for North Korea sending over Nuclear bomb but if he keeps antagonizing them like he has been he would unquestionably be a leading reason for it happening.
Everyone goes a little to far on social media or long rants. So no I dont think Trump should be punished. Sometimes we say a little to much more than we need to. I am not very sure because there needs to be multiple reasons for people to finally go overboard.
I don't think that President Trump should e punished for what he said. I do agree that he shouldn't have said it but he our president and is trying to fight fire with fire. Kim isn't going to stop with these threats until someone stands up to him like President Trump is doing. Kim just wants to pick a fight and personally I think he picked it with the wrong country.
I think Trump should be reprimanded; however, I do agree that I don't think he should be "punished". Although, when he tweets he should keep in mind that millions of people are affected by his actions and if he provokes North Korea into bombing us, I do think all eyes will look to Trump as the primary cause.
He should be punished for not thinking about what he says and it should be monitored because the things he says can have an important impact on what may or may not happen in the future. I think it would be trump's fault for not using his brain for what he has stated on twitter.
I agree but I am not sure that there is a way that we can punish him. It is hard for us as the people to punish someone with such high power over us. I do agree that it should be monitored and he should think before he posts things like this on social media.
I do not think he should be punished either. I agree with you, though, that he should be more careful about what he is putting on his twitter page. I also hope that if North Korea ever does anything to us that it is not because of his tweets.
Yes, I think that what he is doing is both wrong and right. He should inform us of what is going on, but there is a better and more appropriate way of handling it. I could see people going to Trump if anything happens but hopefully his behavior is not the reason for the bombing.
Personally, I don't think that Trump should be punished for expressing his freedom of speech. Although many people think what Trump is doing is foolish and immature, I think that all of his business experience taught him how to read people. Knowing how to read people, Trump can somehow control Kim Jong Un with social media by always keeping Kim Jong Un on his metaphorical toes.
