On January 8th, Elon Musk said that he is planning to test launch his new rocket that is made to hold 100 people and got to mars. This means that space might only be a few more years away! I am very excited about this because I've been waiting for a chance to see space for myself.I feel like it's only natural for humans to colonize so since we already have earth, why don't we try to get space too?

Elon Musk planning this test launch is big news. I think that launching his new rocket that can hold 100 people and go to mars sounds amazing. I agree with you that space might be a few years away. However, I also think space could be more years away than we think. It just all depends on how scientists work all the problems of going to space out. I still think going to Mars would be an astronomical accomplishment.
Your very right. That sounds so cool! I can't imagine being in space myself, but Elon Musk making it possible sounds so cool to me. It would be really awesome if there's that amount of people on mars. Not to mention one person, our very own Elon Musk, figured it out. So cool.
I think that Elon Musk is a really smart and cool guy. His new rocket will probably get a lot of attention and we will for sure hear about it on the news in these next few years. I think that Mars would be cool to live on but I would never go live there myself.
I agree, I believe that space travel and colonization was what we were meant to do. Colonization would not only give us another place to live but we could learn the history of Mars. I think that Elon Musk should continue on trying to improve and discover space exploration.
I love space, learning about new planted and different star constellations has always entertained me. I personally would love to see space. I think it would be so cool to tell people you have been to another planet. At the same time, having people travel to other planets or colonize other planets scares me. I think way too many things could go wrong with going to other planets. The Earth is our home and I think we should stay here and continue to learn more about space in the meantime.
I do agree with the fact that many thing could go wrong with the idea of colonizing other planets. However, if we have many tests we could reduce the chance of something going wrong. But, i do agree that we should stay here and keep learning about space.
I disagree with the idea of colonizing any planet. We should all be responsible for the ruin we've subjected to our planet, and we should try to fix it before giving up. Earth is our natural habitat, we still have yet to find an actual sustainable planet that could possibly suit our needs. I personally dislike Elon as a person and as a business man. He isn't as nearly as influential as he thinks he is, and his attempt at trying to be the leader of the futuristic world is quite literally balogna. Elon needs to stick to making sub-par vehicles and stay out of trying to legit colonize a planet that could not sustain any life, especially not ours.
