MTSS is a waste of time in my opinion because it takes 30-45 mins out of our day, that's extra time just to review when we can just review in class. It also wastes the teachers' time, because they can just let the students do their forum posts in class. I understand why we don't do it in class now with all the presentations we need to do, but why didn't we do them in class earlier in the year?
I understand that MTSS is to get the help you need, but that's why study hall exists, and for the people that don't have study hall, you should find time to work with that teacher, if you're in any clubs, most of the teachers stay after school anyway, so why not get help? You don't need an entire period dedicated to one thing. Yes, I understand that there're people that are busy before and after school, but you need to be wise with your time and make time for schoolwork.
If we got rid of MTSS, then not only would the school day shorten, but we'd also be saving time. The teachers would have to put up with us for less time, the students would have less time in school, so we, students, would be extraordinarily happy. If the school took away MTSS, then everyone would be a lot happier to go, because it'd shorten the day by like 30-45 minutes.
Do you think that MTSS should be removed from the school schedule? why or why not?
Do you think that MTSS is a necessity? Why or why Not?

I have to disagree with you, there is a good chunk of students that do use MTSS as what it was designed for. This time let students get caught up on work or re-learn a subject that they did not understand. This time is really nice for students that don't have a study hall or those that are busy before and after school.
I agree with you Cameron. I feel like there is way more students that benefit from it than those who don't. Plus I feel like MTSS does not harm anyone, but in contrary benefits people. There is times when missing school is unavoidable and MTSS is great to catch up on missing work. Plus there is always something going you just gotta look for an MTSS that you can go to everyday.
In my own opinion, I feel as though MTSS is a good addition to the schedule. It helps students get the help they need and it helps with time management. There are also fun MTSS's to go to, not all of them are for academics. I feel as though it should stay on the schedule and it might not be a necessity, but it is a good addition and it helps a lot of students.
You are completely right, MTSS isn't completely useless. There are a lot fo fun ones and it helps a lot of students who have a lot gong on during their day and are expected to dow ork outside fo school. It is a great addition to the school day and definitely shouldn't be canceled.
I don't really have a problem with MTSS. Yes, sometimes it is very annoying to try and remember to sign up and I think that the consequence for not signing up should be changed. I don't think that a student should have to serve a detention for not signing up, but they have been more lenient on that this year which has been nice. MTSS, for me personally, has helped on certain days where I might need extra help with something or just extra time to work on things. I do not think that we should get rid of MTSS.
I personally have no issue with MTSS other than the fact you have to sign up for it almost every week, and that there is a chance there are no MTSS classes to attend because either they're filled or the teacher waited until last minute to create a class. I like MTSS but if we want it to be more enjoyable, we have to collectively make it easier by signing up earlier and teachers creating more classes that are good like free reading or even a simple study hall.
Mtss is not a necessity, although it is very helpful in alot of peoples days with extra teacher student time. so they can learn there subjects better. this also provides a studyhall for other students or a fun game time depending on the session.
Yes, I agree with you because people in the past did perfectly fine without it so it is not a necessity. Most people do fine in their core classes but the ones that struggle can just stay after school and learn the subject they are struggling with better.
No, I think that mtss should be in our schedule becasue if its not it makes our days longer and less time to do home work and stuff. Besides mtss provides a way for teachers to give more instuctions to students outside of class.
Yes, MTSS helps teachers a lot too. They can teach and improve on their students learning with less of a time constraint. Our classes being longer without is also a huge bummer. So it helps students and teachers massively and there really is no reason to get rid of it.
