Big corporations around the US were mandating the Covid-19 vaccination for all of their employees.As of recently the supreme court has blocked the Biden Administration from mandating the vaccine for big companies employees. As a result, companies are now able to decide if they still want to keep the mandate in place. By requiring the vaccine companies may get a lot of negative feedback from their employees. Possibly leading to them quitting their job or even being fired.
As you may know the company Carhartt has mandated the Covid-19 vaccination. Every worker had to get vaccinated by January 4th. As a result, Carharrt received an exorbitant amount of hate from past supporters. “Very bad look. Definitely should stop buying their products if you do” was tweeted by Elijah Schaffer. Alongside with a screenshot of a breached email that was sent by a spokeswoman to the Carharrt employees. “Went from “Buy Carhartt” to “Bye Carhartt” tweeted by Ashley St. Clair. Other tweets consist of wishes upon Carharrt to go bankrupt. Meanwhile CEO Mark Valade said that even though by law his company does not have to require the vaccine they believe that they should provide a safe workplace for their employees. He also went on by saying that it was dangerous and risky for people and the Carhartt business if they were not vaccinated
Did the Carharrt company deserve this hate? Are people gonna stop wearing their clothing? Those questions have come across many people's minds. Although some people do not have a problem with the mandate, those extreamenst say they will not be wearing Carharrt apparel anymore. But most people just say they don’t support the mandate but since most Carharrt customers are blue collar and need Carhartt apparel to keep warm while working. I believe that since their products are often bought by blue collar workers, meaning conservitive people, is why they are getting more hate than companies like Starbucks. Who also mandated the vaccine as well.

I do not necessarily think that the government should mandate the vaccine. If covid is a major health concern to a company and they want its paid employees to get the vaccine they should be able to mandate it if these employees want to continue to be payed. I think that the hate Carhart is recieving is completely unwarranted.

No,i do not think the vacsine should be mandated. The covid vaccine should not be forced its should be of choice.In my eyes i dont think that carhart will be getting much complaint from the public beacsue its a very popular brand.
I don't think the goverment should madate the vaccine within companies because it really comes down to the people's decision. However it was Carharrts decision and it may offend a few employees or customers but personally it doesn't change if I would buy the product or not.

I don't think that the government should be able to mandate vaccines. However, I do think that private companies can do what they want. I am not in favor of this choice by carhartt, but they are a private company and can set rules like this if they want to. I will still continue to wear their clothing because it is good stuff. The employees are also not required to work there. If they don't like it they can get another job.
I don't think that they need to get the vaccine because the people have their own rights to choose. If a person wants to, they can get vaccinated. If they don't, they should not have to get it. People have their own rights, so they can choose what they want. The government should not enforce the vaccine mandiate on people that don't want it.

I don't think the government should be able to mandate the vaccine, and I don't think it is right for companies to mandate the vaccine. But I think that some people should make their personal choice to stop wearing their clothes or stop supporting them without posting about it to the public. It should be the persons personal choice to get the vaccine, or not get the vaccine. But I won't stop wearing their products.
