What is globalization? Globalization is the process by which companies and other types of businesses begin operating in different countries around the world. Companies do this to increase profit and reach a greater number of possible consumers worldwide. An example of this is when Nike opened stores in several European countries to reach new buyers, in 1981.
What are some of the benefits of globalization? Globalization can help spread new technologies as well as new and innovative products. An invention in Asia can make it to the market in America in a matter of weeks (Unless there is a massive supply chain back up, like there currently is). Globalization also unlocks entirely new markets for businesses to profit from. This access to new markets and new resources allows businesses to sell its products and services at a lower price to the consumer.
What are some of the unintended negatives that can come from globalization? One of the main arguments against globalization is that it takes jobs away from domestic workers. This is because it is usually much cheaper to hire workers in foreign countries than in the United States of America. This can lead to many factories being shut down and thousands of people losing their jobs. Another obstacle that businesses will have to deal with while trying to globalize their company is tariffs. Many countries have extra taxes and tariffs on businesses that export goods out of their country.
I personally think that the benefits of globalization greatly outweigh the negatives. Although, I can see how many people would be outraged at the loss of domestic jobs.

Good topic choice and one that hasn't been done before so +5. It is a compicated topic and one that many students are not aware of it is a difficult topic to comment on for many. You did your job thogh!
I think that for now buisnesses to boo, however it may not be as beneficial for the consumer. With an increase in population and a lack of jobs, there may be problems in the future, but as of now there is no real problem to worry about.
I think gloablization is a good thing that helps businesses benefit greatly, but there are always going to be a loss of jobs that comes with it. I think that the profits companies can get from opening up worldwide is key, and with lower prices you also make consumers happy as well.

As far as i know, it is relatively a good thing because these new businesses with the products that can be used all around world generally, they have a bigger advantage and an opportunity to show themselves and grow and at the same time encourage the businesses like themselves.
