Fast fashion is when companies produce clothes in a really short period of time and then consumers will purchase them fast. Usually this type of fashion creates trends that go away really quickly. After this many consumers will discard their clothes and buy new ones. I think there are a lot of problems with this. First we have all the environmental problems that are making. According to Ethical Consumer, every year fast fashion requires 93 billion cubic meters of water, which is enough to meet the consumption needs of five million people, and is responsible for around 20% of industrial water pollution. All the pollution that is creating is really bad. All these companies usually use polyester which is a really cheap material, but that also means that it contains a lot of plastic.
Then we also have the problem that comes with the workers. Because companies need to reduce costs so it is cheaper and faster they reduce wages. Most of the companies decide to have their industries in countries where the minimum wage is really low, so they can reduce cost of production. They pay a really small amount of money for their work. Most of the time the conditions where the workers work are not the best ones. They can have problems with ventilation which can make them breath toxic substances. They also can work in unsafe buildings. All of these put the workers' life in danger. Animals can also be impacted with fast fashion because of the need of some materials or also that these companies throw their toxic substances and waste in their environments which make them sick. I think fast fashion has a big impact on many aspects and we should reduce the clothes we buy from them.
Fast fashion has been growing over the past few years. Some of the biggest companies you may recognize are Boohoo, Zara, Forever 21, Shein, H&M, Fashion Nova and more. Some things you can do are to buy less from these stores and if you buy something choose it well, and last you should make it last. You should try and use those clothes the more you can. Even though sometimes the trends go away and now you won’t have the trending clothes, sometimes there's more important things than that. You can also go and see second-hand clothes. They could be a great idea especially to reduce pollution. You can also try and buy clothes from sustainable brands which I think is a great idea.

Although fast fashion is a problem, I think it would be really hard to be stopped. Some of the biggest brands nowadays are fast fashion, and it would be almost impossible to stop these companies from growing. I do agree that shopping locally or second hand can help reduce pollution though.
I think that fast fashion cannot be stopped, but it is harmful in some ways. There is such a large amount of clothes being mass-produced for these trends, and then being thrown away as another trend rolls in. This could cause a huge amount of fabric waste, polluting our atmosphere.

Yes because people work harder for us. so we can buy cheeper clothes. I do buy stuff from fast fashions stores but i didn't know they were fast fashion stores at the time. And I probably will still continue to shop at fast fashion stores.

I think that fast fashion is a problem. People work under bad conditions so we can buy cheap clothes. I did buy stuff from fast fashion stores and I probably still do it. Sometimes I do not know if it is a fast fashion stoes and I think that is also a problem. I try to prevent it and do not buy stuff from some stores because I know how bad the working conditions are, but I could probably do better.

I think that fast fashion is in both ways good and bad for various reasons. some good reason is when they are trying to make the fashion for the trend there pulling in more money . I agree that it is bad that the waste in the product will increase as the brands get more popular .It is not fair for the workers to be working in that enviroment so there are more falls that ups, so i would agree that fast fashion is a problem.
