Creatine is a chemical compound used to supplement the body with extra energy, protein, and to increase ATP production within the body. Creatine allows your muscles to contract more weight, higher reps, and all for longer. Some people believe that creatine is a healthy, natural performance enhancers supplement. On the other hand, others believe that Creatine has an overall negative effect on the body. Some of the negative side effects of Creatine are dehydration, muscle cramps, and even kidney failure. Many times, people deal with kidney problems without knowing. Someone who suffers from this issue and takes Creatine will deal with pain and issues in the body. This issue leads to emergency surgery.
Although many people think it is unhealthy, the positives seem to over way the negatives that were listed above. To begin, it helps muscle cells produce more energy. It aids and quickens the production of ATP. Another positive is Creatine is known for increasing muscle growth within the body. Heathline.com states that “over the long term, it also aids in muscle fiber growth by signaling key biological pathways and boosting gym performance.” Many times, Creatine has proven to fight other neurological diseases. Another disease Creatine has proven to help lower blood sugar which leads to help fight Diabetes.
The bottom line is there are both pros and cons to the supplement Creatine. The positives to Creatine seem to over way the minimum amount of negatives. I think that Creatine is a safe and healthy supplement that is good for the body. I think that if people enjoy Creatine and think it is safe for them then it should be their choice.

Good topic choice(+5) and well done overall Lily! I would like to see you expand more on your thoughts within your summary. Also, be sure to check back Thursday afternoon/evening as you coupld have replied back a few more times.
I wouldn't take Creatine, because wouldn't be considered a drug? I mean, if you are enhancing your muscles wouldn't that disqualify you from sports? I know that the Russian skater got disqualified from taking drugs, but could this potentially happen to us?
Everything has its pros and cons. Creatine is a very helpful supplement for those trying to get into working out and seeing results quickly without having to go down a route of unnatural products. I personally would like to take creatine as I struggle with muscle size and have been trying to gain it for a while now. If I can get a helpful boost for that that would be great.
I don't think creatine is very bad for you. I have heard it is bad for your kidney or liver, but I haven't looked into it enough to really know if it is true. I don't personally use creatine, but I know people who do.
I think that creatine is a great supplement and I personally use it. I use 5-10 g of it every day and since I have started I have gained 5 pounds of muscle in about 2 months and have lost a bit of fat as well. Although whey gives you more benefit I feel that creatine is more convenient. I do use both and i think it helps alot.
I belive that Creatine is good for weight lifters but otherwise I don't think you should use it. I think if you work somewhere physically demanding and can't really drink alot of water due to what your doing, I don't think you should use it. I personaly wouldn't use it.
No creatine is not bad for you. It is a mass gaining supliment, it is to hold the water in you muscles to make them look bigger and keep them healthier. There have been accedents in the past when people have died from using it to loose weight for sports like wrestling. They ended up dieing on the scales.
I think creatine has positive and negative affects on different people. It can damage certain insides but I think it's worth taking it. Just making sure you are taking the right amount is important.
I personally think that creatine is bad for you and unhealthy. I do not plan on taking it, but I also know that people do a lot of bad things in this world. Although I would never judge anyone for taking creatine I would not recommend it if it is going to cause any complications.
