Water is a essential, and something EVERYONE must have to survive. Every year according to missionsbox.org more than 500,000 people die from diarrhea, from consuming unsafe drinking water. Over 2 million don’t even have access to safe drinking water. And over 260 million people must travel 30 minuets or more to collect safe water. And this is just in Asia.. 27% of the worlds population are living in bad water conditions. Only 73 million people in the world out of 8 billion have the same availability to water that we do. It is concerning to me that so many people are struggling with their life because of water scarcity. 1 in 4 people lack safe water and 2 in 5 people lack a safe toilet. Can you imagine not being able to use the restroom because they can’t use the water?
So many countries are in need of water as I showed in my other paragraph. And Israel being one of them could use our water more than ever. And people in the Gaza strip are struggling even more because Israel wont give them access to their water. So many people in United States use millions of gallons of water every day. While people there are lucky if they get a drop of what we have. And I am seeing people waste water spilling it on eachother in school.. Making toilets over flow.. For fun? We need to be considerate of others in need. Even in the US people are thirsty. Go give waters to the homeless, or even animals left thirsty on the streets. Do nathing but useless wasting of essential water.
I think people need to take accounabilty for thier own actions. And use not just their heads but their hearts to think of others in need. Desperate people that will be grateful for about anything you can give them. And if you can't do anything for anyone else, just drink water and be greatful you are not dying from it. I see the poor children begging their mom for a drink and think we need some change. BE that change.
