First off, What is Abortion?
Abortion is a medical procedure when a female no longer wants to have a child. The reason being could be many reasons, including... it not being the right time, partner-related issues, and not being mature enough. Most Abortions they can be done Medically, within the first 11 weeks after a menstrual cycle, after that it involves surgery. The fetus will start feeling pain as early as 12 weeks, and they are what most sites call "fully formed", and are about the size of a plum.
In Roe vs Wade, the US Supreme Court ruled that " the constitution of the United States protects a pregnant women’s liberty to choose to have an abortion without excessive government restrictions". But the history of Abortion goes way back, mostly during the 1820s, when women would take, dangerous drugs in order to kill the child. But in the 1850s, they started to criminalize the idea of abortions, and in 1869 the Catholic Church banned all abortions altogether. By the 1880s abortion was illegal altogether everywhere. But in the 1960s, abortion was then taken an idea to women, and they wanted that choice again. Resulting in it being legal once again.
But is it really a choice? While I get that some need it for medical reasons, does that really make it right? If your mother decided to abort you, you wouldn't be reading this right now, you wouldn't be able to do anything, for you wouldn't be alive. I believe that abortion is murder. If someone kills a pregnant woman, then they are charged for manslaughter 2 times, shouldn't it be the same for an abortion? Also, there is always Adoption, if you don't want your child, it was your choice to make them and it can be your choice to put them in for adoption for someone who will love them will take them.
Do you think Abortion is Murder? Why or Why not?
Do you think that Abortion should be legal? Why or Why not

I'm glad we're on the same page, and yes I still stand by what I said. I still think that abortions should not be allowed... What does a anniversary have to do with anything? A life is still a life.
A lot of people were thinking about the anniversary of Roe v Wade, with it being this past Saturday. So some News stories were posting updates about it, and what has happened this past 49 years with abortion. Do you think that abortion has gone up in the past almost 50 years? Or do you think more people are taking into consideration that a life is a life?
Well yes, it does make sense that people would be discussing that now because like you said, its been almost 50 years... But I found out that since the 1940's people have actually begun to consider that a life IS a life. Although abortion is not completely gone, it still has shown to have dramatically fallen over time. Here's a graph with further indent for you :)Screenshot_20220126-172126_Chrome.jpg
I think that abortion is murder. The baby has a heartbeat, so therefore, is living. Abortion is a thing that can go either way though, you wouldn't want someone who doesn't want to be a parent and have their kid grow up and have a horrible life all because abortion was illegal. I think it should stay legal but have stricter laws.
Yes, I believe abortion is murder. I am heavily influenced by the church, but also just by knowing what is morally right. It baffels me that abortion isn't considered murder , but someone could murder a pregnant lady and be changed for manslaughter twice. That logically doesn't make sense.
I agree with you, I know some people may be influenced by other things, but the logic that they used when saying, killing a pregnant woman is 2 counts of manslaughter, but if the woman decided to get rid of it then all of a sudden, it isn't manslaughter.
I strongly believe that abortion is murder and I think that it is wrong in so many ways. I understand that in extreme circumstances abortion may have to happen for health reasons, but that still does not make it right. I think abortion should be illegal unless there are extreme health conditions that can hurt the baby and/ or the mother. If the mother does not want the baby she should put it up for adoption and give the baby a chance at life.
I personaly believe that abortion should be a crime. If you choice to have a abortion I do believe that you should be charged for manslaughter. If you were to kill a baby that is just a few days old you will be charged for murder, so what is the difference if you kill them when they are in the womb.
I agree with everything that you are saying. It doesn't make sense to me logically how the world can allow abortion to happen but if someone kills a baby that is a few days old then it's all okay. To me, it just makes no sense whatsoever and I honestly don't know the difference.
I dont think abortion should be legal unless they were raped or had sex without consent, but if the people chose to do it without protection I think they should face the problem by still having the kid, and if they end up not wanting it they can also put it up for adoption, no need for abortion.
