Well they believe that if they legalize it that it will decrease the number of smokers just like what happened during prohibition. However I personally believe that this isn't going to happen and it may just increase the number.

im not sure weather it should be legal er not cause people will use it for other reasons.

i think were strayin away from the point. medical marijuana is going to be used to help people. . iowa wouldn't be considering this if it wasn't going to help and better someones life. cancer, glaucoma, HIV and AIDS, Hepatitis C and Alzheimer's pateints are going to be the only ones to get an id card for medical marijuana. these are truely the people that need it to help calm themselves. i mean if i had cancer that was incurable i would wanna smoke medical marijuana to help me keep my mind off of it.

taxation of medical marijuana would definately be benifiatial because as many people wouldn't like to admit it our country is a growing society of medical marijuana smoking
