There is currently a study going on about the healing properties on mammal skin reproduction. Scientists found a breed of mice called the African spiny mice that can lose up to 60% of the skin on their backs and have it all grow back like it had never lost it in the first place. Now they are trying to figure out how to apply that trait to humans. Imagine if you ever got hurt there would never be a scar. How do you feel about this?

I think this sounds pretty creepy. Getting scars isn't that bad, I have one on my knee and one under my eye. Maybe if they study it more, they might find out something else though.
I don't think that's a good idea... modifying the genetics of a human should probably not happen
that would be cool. 60% is a crazy amount of skin to lose for it to come back that easily. I like a lot of my scars though I don't know how I would feel about losing the ability to scar
That would be really scary honestly, being able to reproduce your skin. But honestly i think something would go wrong with this and even if...how are they supposed to test this. It would have to be on humans initially because this is all ready going on in mice, but not any other animals.
That sounds pretty cool but yet its weird that were trying to change hings about our race so were better.

I think that the possibilities of what this could do could be very helpful for people who have been injured or burned. It would be great if they could make it look like it really never happened.
I think it is a great idea. There wouldn't be as many deaths from blood loss and and stuff like that. But i think t is good to have scars. It makes you who you are. They simbalize stories and they are sometimes even conversation starters.
Kinda freaky to think about. It would help the people who are badly scarded and want their scars to be hinden. Freaky thinking that you would be mice skins.
wow, what an amazing ability to have. This ability could be used for burn victims, and people who need skin grafts. I would use it on my knees, I love to hurdle in track, but i have fallen so many times that my knees are pretty scared up.
